Artificial Intelligence marketing scams continue to flood the web. You can find thousands of AI-generated videos, comments, and blog posts targeting people’s insecurities and advertising a magic pill. In this post I create a list of products and channels you should avoid and watch out for.
What are AI-generated YouTube marketing channels?
These are channels created by scammers that use Artificial Intelligence to (1) create fake videos and (2) spam fake comments supporting the video. These channels can have many purposes, although the ones I have seen attempt to scam you and make you purchase a certain product.
Consider this channel as an example:
When you open any such video, you will see an AI character recommending a product, such as this:
Then the comment section will link to an “official site” and you will see a bunch of comments supporting the channel.
